We conquered the "Hill from Hell" or, more aptly, walked up it cursing every step. Either way, another state was checked off the list. It was a beautiful day to run, especially since three days prior to the race we were running in -13 degree weather. It was a change of almost 90 degrees! It was a great road trip that had us accompanied by Samantha (second in her age group for the 10K) and chauffeured by dad. Thanks dad for letting us get some much-needed rest! |

Can I just say what a relief to discover a person that genuinely understands what they're discussing over the internet. You actually know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people have to check this out and understand this side of your story. I was surprised that you are not more popular since you certainly have the gift.

Congratulations on your latest achievement. I am amazed how you have made it through the cold weather. You have reached an extra mile. Joining races is a great experience and also good for the health. During my younger years, I love running with my college buddies. It was our way of coping with the stress at school and at the same time, our bonding moment.
